Decemberrrrrr!!!

As you can see, Sophie is now saying "Dada" (well sordof). She is getting SO excited when Dave comes home. As soon as she hears the door open, she pops her head up and stares at the door smiling, waiting for him to pop in and get her. It's great!

We've been trying to get all of our Christmas shopping done and make it to all of our many Christmas parties in the past few weeks; did great on the parties, not so hot on the shopping. Oh well! :)

I took a TON of new pictures of Sophia- for her 7 month pictures as well as pictures for Christmas cards. I think they turned out pretty stinkin' cute! I think she's starting to get the hang of posing. It cracks me up that each picture she looks like she knows exactly what she's doing to get the best shot. :) Really, could she be any more irresistable? :)

She is now rolling over boys like crazy and attempting to crawl... well, it's not so much of a crawl, but more a sticking her little bootie in the air and pushing her face along the floor until she gets where she needs to. She is still wanting to stand all of the time and is trying to pull herself up on things. If I stand her up and help her get ahold of something she can stand for a couple of minutes by herself. This makes her think she is pretty big stuff! :) She also likes to "walk" with Dave holding her hands... although she doesn't get too far before her chubby little legs collapse.
