Kilts, beads, and painted puppies

Today we got to go see the St. Patrick's Day parade downtown with Grandma Gus. We had so much fun. Sophia even got to have her very first sucker. (at least to my knowledge, my brother Jason claims otherwise...??) She enjoyed talking to the clown and trying to pull her nose. She loved all the poor painted, leprachaun carrying, silly hat wearing puppies. We had a great morning and lunch with Grandma and then headed to my friend Laura's house for a play date with her friends Ella and Delaney. Sophia was in little baby heaven riding in her first ever wagon ride. She laughed, and talked, and clapped as we walked around the block. She also sat in the grass for the first time, and played with sidewalk chalk. That's an awfully big day for an awfully little girl.
